  • 2003/03 - Start of development of AGUA-A1000, asbestos encapsulant for inside of the ship, at Nippon Maritime Display Co., Ltd.
  • 2005/05 - "Development of Asbestos Abatement Chemicals and Safe Treatment Methods" was approved as a development research grant project by Ship and Ocean Foundation.
  • 2007/03 - AGUA JAPAN Co. ltd. established.
  • 2009/01 - "Greening Project of Simple Folded Roof" (in collaboration with Suntory Midorie Co., Ltd.) was approved as a "Management Innovation Plan" by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
  • 2009/07 - Commercialization of the asbestos encapsulant AGUA-A3000.
  • 2010/02 - AGUA-A3000 was certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as an asbestos anti-scattering agent (MAEN-0039).
  • 2010/02 - "Commercialization of A.S.S. Construction Method Utilizing Anti-scattering agent" has been approved as a "New Collaborative Project" by the Kanto Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
  • 2011/02 - Established Asbestos Compacting and Solidification Council
  • 2011/05 - AGUA-A3000 is adopted to inhibit the scattering of radioactive dust from the explosion-damaged buildings at the Site of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
  • 2011/06 - Our proposal for asbestos compaction and solidification method was adopted in Hamamatsu City, Sizuoka Pref.
  • 2011/12 - Developed AGUA-A2000, asbestos remover.
  • 2012/01 - Developed AGUA-A5000, an anti-scattering agent.
  • 2012/02 - AGUA-A3000 was sprayed to reduce dust, which contains asbestos, at a temporary disaster waste disposal site (after the Earthquake) in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Pref.

  • 2012/07 - Release of the anti-rust paint (with rust conversion) "TRICK W" (subsequently improved and renamed "AGUA-MG100")

  • 2013/11 - Start of long-run onboard tests of MG100 on ships managed by the NYK group.
  • 2013/12 - "Waste Asbestos Material Treatment Agent, and Method of Treatment of Waste Asbestos Material and Method of Preventing Scattering of Waste Asbestos Material using the Treatment Agent" was granted a patent in Korea (Korean Patent 10-1340407).
  • 2015/07-10 - Participated in a replacement project of "Tottori Hondori Shopping Arcade" to remove existing asbestos using our proposed method and AGUA products.
  • 2016/09 - Commencement of sales of MG100, a rust-conversion type anti-rust metal primer.
  • 2016/10 - Launch of REMRON 300 paint remover.
  • 2018/04 - AGUA SR200 rust remover officially launched.
  • 2021/07 - Launch of REMRON ME ECO paint remover.
